Iris for All Doula Services provides compassionate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum support tailored to the needs of each family. I offer evidence-informed guidance, calm and steady presence, and hands-on care designed to help you and your family feel nurtured, confident and supported through every phase of your journey.
Postpartum Services
$40 an hour or $35 an hour for birth doula clients 3 hours minimum per shift
The weeks after birth are full of immense transition — physically, emotionally, and within the rhythm of your home. My postpartum care is designed to help you feel supported, rested, and grounded as you adjust to life with your new baby. I meet you where you are and help you discover what works best for your family, offering steady, compassionate care during this tender time.
Postpartum support may include:
Emotional support and a calm, nonjudgmental space to process your experience
Newborn care guidance, including feeding, soothing, diapering, sleep cues, babywearing, and safe sleep practices
Hands-on support for daily tasks such as light household care, washing pump parts or bottles, folding laundry, making meals, and prepping snacks
Hands-on baby support — lovingly caring for your baby so you can shower, rest, eat, or take time for yourself
Support for older siblings, including age-appropriate ways to involve them with the baby, offering reassurance and attention during this major transition, facilitating bonding activities, helping them understand their new role, and creating a calm environment where they feel secure and included
Evidence-based information and resources tailored to your family’s needs
Referrals for lactation support, mental health, and community services
Gentle guidance that helps you feel confident, capable, and truly supported
Partner support may include:
Helping partners understand newborn cues and how to comfort and support the baby
Offering guidance on how to actively support the birthing parent’s rest, recovery, and emotional well-being
Providing reassurance, tools, and information so partners feel confident in their evolving role
Creating space for partners to ask questions and process their own transition into parenthood
Birth Doula Services
$1,400
Birth is an incredibly powerful and intimate experience, and having continuous support can make a profound difference. My birth doula services are designed to help you feel informed, grounded, and cared for throughout pregnancy, labor, and the early postpartum hours. I provide calm, steady support so you can make the choices that feel right for you and welcome your baby with confidence.
Birth support may include:
Free initial consultation to get to know each other and explore your needs
At least two prenatal appointments to prepare for labor, discuss preferences, and build trust
Support in writing your birth preferences, ensuring your voice and values guide your plan
Unlimited text, phone, and email support throughout pregnancy
24/7 on-call availability from 37 weeks until birth
Continuous labor and delivery support, including emotional guidance, comfort measures, and advocacy, through 1–2 hours postpartum
Postpartum check-ins at 1 week and 6 weeks, as requested
Help processing your birth experience in a safe, supportive space
Newborn education, including feeding support, babywearing guidance, diapering, and newborn care basics
Referrals to trusted local resources such as lactation support, mental health providers, and community programs
Discounts on postpartum doula services when combining birth and postpartum care
A commitment to access, because everyone who wants a doula deserves the opportunity to have one
Other highlights:
I attend births at hospitals, birth centers, and home births alongside a certified midwife
I support families in the greater Portland/Vancouver Metro area and surrounding communities
Offer photography if this is something the client wants and it doesn’t interfere with L&D support
